JACKSONVILLE, Fla – McCall Service announced the acquisition of Jacksonville Beach-based First Coast Wildlife and Expel. The acquisition of First Coast Wildlife and Expel will be effective Jan. 6, 2020. The acquisition of Expel adds to the existing pest control business of McCall’s Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa service areas. The acquisition of First Coast Wildlife greatly expands McCall’s presence and expertise in the wildlife control and exclusion business throughout its entire service area.
Wildlife control represents an increasingly important and complementary field within the pest management industry and these acquisitions are the result of McCall’s ongoing effort to expand and align itself with high quality, professional pest control companies that can add value to its existing and future clients. “Wildlife services and exclusion work add two additional organic growth drivers that will augment McCall’s core business lines and help it achieve and maintain growth levels well above that of the industry as a whole. McCall is delighted to welcome First Coast Wildlife and Expel to the McCall family,” said J. Bryan Cooksey III, Chairman, President and CEO of McCall. Independently run Expel and Conserv branded wildlife control businesses that were not part of this acquisition will continue to operate across the country pursuant to a licensing and royalty fee agreement with McCall or otherwise.
